Elements

Welcome to another independent review of a great online slot machine brought to you by GamblingInformation.com. I’m Ed Roberts, a member of the expert editorial team here, and as well as being lucky enough to be our official casino reviewer I’m also a big fan of casino slot machine games.

Today we’re going to have a close look at another of gaming giant NetEnt’s new generation of themed slots. Let’s see what they’ve done with the game Elements that could make it the perfect casino slot game for your next flutter.

About “Elements” Slot Machine

Elements is a stunning video slot with a theme based-loosely on the ancient belief that everything in the world was made up of the 4 “elements” – earth, air, fire and water. The 3D graphics are delightful, and the animations when elements combine in a winning combination are some of the nicest we’ve seen yet in video slots.

Under this gorgeous skin, Elements is an innovative mix of traditional reel and modern “avalanche” gameplay, and it’s really effective. This makes Elements feel quite unique in play and it’s a really enjoyable experience.

The real draw here, though, is that Elements has one of the largest jackpot prizes of all the non-progressive slots on the market at the moment – an amazing 300,000 coins are up for grabs here for those playing for real.

Important Symbols

There are no scatters or other modern gameplay symbol types in Elements other than a traditional style wildcard.

In Elements, wilds substitute for any of the other symbols in the game, boosting your chances of a winning combination. However they only appear on columns 2 through 5, so don’t be holding out for one to appear on the first column!

Payout Table and Win Potential

The payout table for Elements is shown in full within the game – play the free version here at GamblingInformation.com or play for real at one of our partner casinos and you can access all the details from the in-game menu.

The standard play jackpot is only 1,500 coins which at first glance seems very low indeed, but don’t forget that there’s a clever free-fall round that has the opportunity to see this value massively increase.

Bonus Features

Each of the four classical “elements” in the game has its own special free-fall “storm” mode. You access them by counting up wins during standard play. Every win gets you a step nearer the bonus mode and you need at least 4 to activate it.

Accessing the free fall mode lands you 10 free plays. Each of the four bonus modes has its very own wildcard feature, and these occur much more frequently than in standard play so your win potential is much increased.

In a Fire bonus round wildcards can change 2 neighbouring symbols into additional wildcards – this way you can get the wildcards on all 5 columns.

The Air bonus wildcards will appear randomly in two places and then stay there, acting like sticky wildcards. After the first successful win they will then move to a neighbouring position.

Earth bonus wildcards only show up on the middle three columns, but they then become sticky. They remain in place until you’ve won three avalanches or you’ve exhausted your free plays.

The Water bonus wilds are the only ones that expand, and these can show up on columns 2, 3, or 4. Water wilds are responsible for some of the biggest possible payouts in Elements.

Game Settings and How to Play

Despite the great looks and innovative bonus features there are no surprises here when it comes to how to actually play. Simply choose your coin value and how many lines to play. Elements is really beginner friendly as you can choose coin values from a low as £0.01, but maximum bet per play is a healthy £100 for those looking for some big returns.

If you are a high roller, or you just want to “go for it”, there is a handy “max bet” button that will automatically wager the full amount and then play for you. There’s also an auto play function as found on most of NetEnt’s games.

Accessing the in-game menu provides plenty of settings to tweak if you want to. These include volume levels, graphics quality, level of ambient sounds, and a full help and “how to play” section as well as the comprehensive payout table.

Elements is a great looking slot you can play for free right here on GamblingInformation.com if you want to check it out. However, to be in with a chance of that stunning 300,000 jackpot you’ll need to be playing for real. Remember, if you sign up to a NetEnt casino such as LeoVegas or CasinoHeroes with our exclusive links you’ll earn some super welcome bonuses when you join, allowing you to play Elements and many other great games and win some life-changing prizes. Good luck!
